Easy way to send & receive bigger files using Google drive

We all have a Google Account and who has a google account, also has a Google Drive. Now here's the trick, everyone knows that one can send files by using their drive link but we'll use the drive to receive files from others.

Let's start, first of all, if you have a PC go to your Chrome browser. (You can do it with your Android phone, I'll discuss it in the last of my post) Now look at the top right side of your computer screen, you will see your google account profile picture. (If you have multiple accounts, click on the profile picture, and switch to your account).

On the left side of your profile picture, you'll see a dotted icon click on it. Now scroll down and find the app Forms. Open the form. An untitled form will open on your computer screen.

Add Name & description of the form. 

Then you will see a long untitled question box, Place a question like upload files hare, after that at the top right side of the box, there is a drop-down multiple Choice click on it.

Choose File Upload.

 After choosing file upload, a form like this will open

Click on continue. After Clicking continue, the form will look like this. 

Now click on blue color change. A form like this will open. In the Maximum size of all files uploaded section. Click on the drop-down menu 1GB  And select 100GB.

Now save it. After saving, automatically the previous form will open. 

If you have more than 10 GB and less than 15GB of free space on google drive, (10GB<freespace>15GB). Change the maximum number of files to 1 & maximum file size to 10GB. If you have more than 15 GB of free space like 100GB/1Tb you can select file number and size as per your amount of free space in google drive.

Remember, never choose odd file numbers and sizes so that the total amount of files exceeds the total size of your free space in Google Drive. If it exceeds, the form will not work.

For example, I have 13 GB of free space on my google drive so I Selected file amount 1 and total size 10 GB that means total file size people can send is less than my free space (1×10GB =10GB <13GB)

But if you want to get received multiple files at a time. You can change the setting as file amount 10 and total size 1GB ( if free space is less than 15GB [1GB×10=10GB<15GB]

By the way, you can have both settings in the same form by creating 2 different questions (file upload). Like this.

You can also add questions like this :

for this type of answer, you have to select the answer type as per their size.

One more thing If you want a question that has to be answered or without answered form that can't be submitted, you can set the question as required from here.

Now, you can send the form link to your friend or anyone. They can upload files directly to your google drive by the link. You can share the form link from here.

You can also add color, header image, change font, background color, and border color to give a better look to your form from here.

As I side I will discuss how to create a google form with your Android phone, like this form in the last of my post I'm discussing it now. It's very simple. Simply go to your phone browser and search google form creates or click on this link Google Form Then click on go to forms. 

After that everything is the same as above. You can see the responses, individual responses, and a summary of responses from here.

Now your form is ready to receive files
